Phelsuma laticauda- Gold Dust Day Gecko

The Gold Dust Day Gecko is an excellent beginner species (and was actually the first species of Day Gecko that I worked with. What makes it a good starter species? Well, it's very forgiving of mistakes made by its keeper.

All Day Geckos require the same basic care: high humidity, horizontal basking places, good cover

and proper heating and lighting. The Gold Dust will do well with a ten- gallon tank with bamboo horizontally and vertically placed, lots of plants, once daily misting and every other day feeding.
